Dr. Jan Sonander is an expert in family medicine and geriatrics with a wealth of experience in the field. He excels in providing for his patients a serene environment and top-notch health care services. He has achieved many feats during his career, which spans more than 30-years, and continues to strive toward excellence. Dr. Sonander earned an MD, a Master of Science and a Bachelor of Science at the University of California, Davis. He is a board-certified physician who earned credentials from the American Board of Family Medicine, Inc.
 
Dr. Sonander is an award-winning physician and he is proud to be able to help families reach and maintain maximum health. He received the Patient Satisfaction Excellence Award from the St. Joseph Health System in Sonoma County in 2009.

Dr. Jan Sonander is a member of the California Medical Association and the American Academy of Family Physicians. He is chief of staff and chairman of credentials for the Santa Rosa Memorial Hospital, and former president of the Sonoma County Medical Association. Dr. Sonander enjoys reading medical publications and business magazines when he is not hard at work, including The Economist. He also enjoys reading Sonoma County business publications. In his spare time, he enjoys sailing and skiing.
